Sonoma Underground, a new event dedicated to the small, independent producers of Sonoma County, will be hosting it’s inaugural tasting on February 24, 2018 from 2pm-5pm at Longboard Vineyards in Healdsburg, CA. Each participating producer will showcase the wines they pour their heart and should into year after year. They all have have enormous respect for the land, for their workers, and for the wine they create. Each comes with a unique story – some are veterans, some newcomers, but all will amaze with their philosophy and the quality of their wines. For those wine lovers who visit Sonoma and wonder: “Where can I find the fantastic, unknown wines from the small guys? How can I find the off the beaten track wineries?” This is the event to bring the “Sonoma Underground” above ground. The event is open to members of the media and to the public for a fee of $49 per person at http://
The event is brought to you by two industry veterans who are passionate about helping the family-owned, unique producers thrive: Elizabeth Schneider, host of the award-winning Wine for Normal People podcast and author of the upcoming book of the same title, who has a passion for small producers, and Laura Perret Fontana, digital media consultant, whose family owned a small winery in St. Helena and who looks at this event as a chance to make a difference for the small wineries run by people like her parents.
